Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Stag (A Unit of Deer Valley Homestay). By booking a stay or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Booking & Reservation

• Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment as specified at the time of inquiry.
• Balance payment must be cleared at the time of check-in.
• We reserve the right to decline a booking if the guest profile does not match our family-friendly environment.

2. Check-in & Check-out

• Standard Check-in: 12:00 PM
• Standard Check-out: 11:00 AM
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.

3. Adventure Activities & Safety

Adventure activities such as river rafting, kayaking, and zip-lining carry inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You will strictly follow the instructions of the professional guides.
• River Rafting: Availability is subject to water release from the Supa Dam. We are not liable for rafting cancellations due to government regulations or water levels.
• Participants must be in good physical health. Please disclose any medical conditions before the activity.
• The homestay is not liable for any injuries or loss of personal belongings during adventure sessions.

4. Guest Conduct

• The Stag is a family homestay in a quiet forest zone. Noise levels must be kept low after 10:00 PM.
• Any damage to the property, rooms, or equipment caused by guests will be charged to the guest's account.
• Illegal activities, including the use of banned substances, are strictly prohibited.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancellations made 15 days or more before the check-in date will receive a 90% refund of the advance payment.
• Cancellations made between 7 to 14 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund.
• No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 7 days of the check-in date.
• In case of a "no-show," the entire advance payment will be forfeited.

6. Forest Environment

You are staying in a forest area near the Kali River. While we take measures to ensure your comfort, you may encounter insects, monkeys, and other wildlife (like Hornbills). Feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karnataka.
